  • Install CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion hardware devices to include cabling as per plans and specifications.

  • Assist in testing, commissioning and client training of installed equipment as well as provide basic programming, such as adding card readers, cameras, alarm points, and basic network/IP connectivity to any system.

  • Assist in performing preventive maintenance and repair as per a client maintenance agreement and/or warranty.

  • Assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Card Access and CCTV systems as assigned.

  • This position may require the need to participate in an on-call rotation schedule. Candidate would always be required to effectively answer client calls after hours work and on weekend/holidays.

  • Responsible for updating Project Management on the status of all work performed on a daily basis as per the existing work order system.

  • Notify Project Management of any project related issues to include safety, the customer experience and quality control required to complete duties as assigned.

  • Install, maintain, or repair security systems, alarm devices, and related equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.

  • Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves hardware, software, and basic network related problems encountered by end-users of the network as installed.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A comprehensive knowledge of integrated security systems are required. This position requires periodic drug testing, a valid driver’s license, Successful Background Check, and a clear written commitment to our safety policies as part of our onboarding process.

  • Required to safely lift and/or move up to 60 pounds on a routine basis.

  • Required to stand for extended periods of time as well as climb ladders of various sizes

  • Will frequently be required to walk, sit, and use hands to pull cables and wires, use power tools, work in various positions and climb ladders and/or scaffolding.

  • Positions requires the necessary vision to work with drawings, color coded wiring and dark ceilings.

  • Candidate may at times be exposed to outside weather elements.

  • Moderate travel may be required without notice within the state of North/South Carolina.

  • Communicates effectively in both oral and written communications.

  • Communicates well with supervisor, peers, subordinates, and other departments of the Company.

Education and Experience

  •  A minimum of Five (5) years’ experience related to the job duties of this position is required.

  • Experience in CCTV, Access Control, Alarm & Intrusion, installation & programming for such systems as Genetec, ExacqVision, BOSCH, AXIS, Honeywell………..

  • Must adhere to OSHA Safety Standards.

  • Required to possess a valid driver’s license and pass our driver background and onboarding process.

  • Must adhere to our GEOTAB and iAuditor Safety policies as a condition of employment.

  • Participate in all team training and safety meetings.

  • All employees will be required to pass all background checks, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening
