Summary

This position provides support to Envirotrol, LLC  in projects throughout job loop. Projects are expected to be finished in accordance with customer specifications, schedule, and budget limitations.  The Envirotrol office is located in High Point, however, a significant amount of work in/around the Raleigh area will be required as well as possible out of state travel.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding and anticipating customer needs

  • Formalizing startup, commissioning and closeout 

  • Standardization of drawings

  • Project Folder Management (keep up-to-date drawings and cost worksheets, delete outdated info

  • Submitting (monthly) project billings and cost to complete updates

  • Monitoring project budget and provide updates

  • Consistent labor tracking

  • Attending required meetings (office and job sites)

  • Working with operations team for manpower and engineering support associated with projects.

**Communication to the team is essential.  The following are specific needs in this area. **

Project Setup:

  • Provide background of project

  • Provide all names/identities/aliases, etc. of the customer and project

  • Provide all additional contractors/subcontractors names

  • Clearly define roles and responsibilities

  • Provide a detailed schedule with estimation of cost for each department.  

Project Status Reporting:

  • Provide a review of work done (weekly)

  • Notify team of any changes to drawings (ours or the customers)

  • Notify team of any changes to bill of material, VAV’s, controllers

Qualifications/Special Skills

  • Basic ability to read blueprints, schematics, and understanding of data center and facility infrastructure desirable.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in mechanical and systems engineering

  • Must be a highly motivated individual, possessing time management skills and able to multitask

  • Must provide timely responses to questions

  • Must be accessible by phone when problems arise

  • Lead by example (turning in time sheets, inspections, etc. on time)

  • Can work independently without supervision and also capable of working within a team environment
