Safety professional to manage all locations, responsible for the coordination and management of safety programs.

Safety professional to manage Greensboro NC, Raleigh NC, Charlotte NC and Greenville SC locations. Is responsible for the coordination and management of safety programs. Develops and carries out procedures to effectively control and minimize safety accidents and health violations. Promotes company safety performance standards to meet strategic goals and objectives. Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations involving safety, industrial hygiene, HazCom and environmental safety.
Conduct required training for employees (Orientation, OSHA 10, Arc Flash, etc.).
Manage company training matrix.
Visit sites and facilities to ensure safety compliance.
Manage iAuditor Analytics – includes Site Safety Inspections, Near Miss Reporting and Monthly Vehicle Inspections.
Assist with PPE request and all onsite safety needs.
Stay abreast of OSHA 29 CFR Part 1926/Construction Standards.
Conduct accident investigations and make recommendations for correction of problem areas.
Participate in company safety committees.
Completes monthly safety reports and annual OSHA Log reporting.
Assist in communicating hazard control information and evaluates effectiveness of the controls. Ensures compliance with SDS at all locations and job sites.

Must be a highly motivated multi-tasker, possessing time management skills; can work independently without supervision and also capable of working within a team environment
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn.
Interpersonal skills for coordinating projects involving multiple people and functions.
Creates and maintains a work environment that encourages open communication and positive employee relations to establish a climate of openness and trust.
Solid leadership skills promoting upward and downward management capabilities across different departments
Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
Must be able to travel - 75% of the time will be spent in the field and 25% of the time in an office environment.
This position requires ten (10) year’s experience in safety management
College degree, perferably in Safety or Construction
Must have OSHA 30 Certification
