PLC and cGxP Controls Specialist

Envirotrol is seeking a PLC and cGxP Controls Specialist for our headquarters location in High Point, North Carolina. In this role you will build panels, calibrate devices, and learn programming/hardware in accordance with the financial goals of your assigned projects. You will spend 75% of your time at our headquarters location. Occasionally you will travel to job sites in the interest of problem solving, project scope and commissioning, training, and other tasks as directed by the Controls Engineer.

What we are looking for:
Ability to read blueprints, schematics and P&ID’s is desirable

Ability to read financial reports

Understanding of data center and facility infrastructure

Experience in a heavily regulated cGxP environment

Experience in mechanical and systems engineering

Experience in Allen-Bradley PLC hardware and software engineering

Experience in Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk Historian ME/SE, View ME/SE, AssetCentre, VantagePoint software and server based engineering

Strong time management skills and ability to multitasK

Can work independently without supervision and within a team environment

Physical demands are light to moderate, consisting of sitting, using hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reaching, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling

Occasional heavy lifting up to 75 pounds

Climbing ladders and entering confined spaces

Occasional exposure to electric hazards
