
Service Manager
The Service Manager is responsible for the overall business results for their assigned team(s) and for the safety and supervision of Service Technicians who accomplish the repair, retrofit, or replacement of HVAC systems and related controls. Additionally, this role is responsible for the training and development of the team field technicians.

Responsibilities
-
Implements and evaluates area safety needs/requirements to provide feedback and recommendations to service technicians following company safety policies

Accountable for the profit and loss of the performance of the Field Team

Responsible for strategically training and developing HVAC field technicians

Supervises jobs by reviewing technicians' work and accompanying service reports • Provides oversight with branch Service Coordinator in scheduling, organizing, and dispatching HVAC Field Technicians

Represents the company by serving as a direct customer contact and actively contributes to the growth and sustainability of our customer portfolio

Serves customers by answering questions, responding to special requests, and helping them make key buying decisions

Prepares for on-site installations and repairs by proactively anticipating challenges, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary

Works effectively within our operating system to pull data for reports, financial performance, forecasting, presentations, and/or special projects

Gathers data and provides cost review in the preparation of quotes for equipment repairs and/or replacement at customers' locations

Reviews service profitability report on a monthly basis to identify services performing below targeted gross margins and identify problems or areas for improvement to initiate appropriate steps for implementation

Other duties as assigned by Branch Manager or as needed by customer requirements

Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, experience with CRM/sales software applications a plus.

Familiarity with Building Automation Controls is preferred.

This position does not allow for remote working opportunites.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, some overtime may be required
